The Lexington Minutemen basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Carrollton Trojans to 54 in the Minutemen league triumph on Friday.

The Minutemen now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lafayette County for a Missouri River Valley - East contest on Tuesday, February 7. Lexington will battle a Huskers team coming off a 57-56 non-league win over Hogan Prep Charter (Kansas City, MO). The Huskers record now stands at 19-2.

The Trojans (5-17) will now prepare for their contest against Lafayette County (Higginsville, MO). The Huskers enter the Missouri River Valley - East contest with a 20-2 record. In their last contest, Lafayette County ran past Lexington (Lexington, MO), 78-52, in a league contest.
