Michigan High School Basketball - Catholic Central trounces Thornapple Kellogg

The Catholic Central Cougars (Grand Rapids, MI) basketball crushed the host Thornapple Kellogg Trojans (Middleville, MI), 73-43 in Friday's league test.
The Cougars (10-4) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI). The Eaglets go into the non-league test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, St. Mary's Prep was trounced by De La Salle Collegiate (Warren, MI), 66-54, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Wayland for a Ottawa-Kent - Gold test on Tuesday, February 7. Thornapple Kellogg will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 47-44 league win over Cedar Springs (Cedar Springs, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-5.
