Oregon High School Basketball - Valley Catholic can't hold off Catlin Gabel

The Catlin Gabel Eagles basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Valley Catholic Valiants to 50 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Horizon Christian for a 3A Lewis & Clark contest on Monday, February 6. Catlin Gabel will battle a Hawks team coming off a 75-29 league loss to De La Salle North Catholic (Portland, OR). The Hawks record now stands at 6-14.
The Valiants (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Westside Christian (Lake Oswego, OR). The Eagles enter the 3A Lewis & Clark contest with a 19-3 record. In their last contest, Westside Christian nudged Portland Adventist Academy (Portland, OR), 78-36, in a league contest.
