The Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) basketball crushed the host Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA), 52-19 in Friday's league test.

The Lions (21-3) will now prepare for their test against Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA). The Bruins go into the AAAA Region 7 test with a 14-9 record. In their last test, Northwest Whitfield was trounced by Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA), 72-65, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 0-19 record. They play next when they host Rockmart for a non-league test on Saturday, February 4. Cedartown will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 86-67 league loss to North Murray (Chatsworth, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 13-10.
