Idaho High School Basketball - Centennial topped by Mountain View

The Mountain View Mavericks basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Centennial Patriots to 51 in the Mavericks league victory on Friday.
The Mavericks now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eagle for a 5A Southern Idaho contest on Tuesday, February 7. Mountain View will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 68-57 league loss to Middleton (Middleton, ID). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-8.
The Patriots (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Nampa (Nampa, ID). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Southern Idaho contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Nampa prevailed over Capital (Boise, ID), 40-35, in a league contest.
