Center Cougars (Antelope, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Colfax Falcons (Colfax, CA), 68-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Center upgrades its record to 8-17 on the campaign. The Cougars host Lindhurst (Olivehurst, CA) to play the Blazers in a Pioneer Valley League bout on Monday, February 6. The Blazers come into the bout with a record of 6-15. Lindhurst won 53-49 in their recent league bout against Wheatland (Wheatland, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA) in a Pioneer Valley League bout, on Monday, February 6. Colfax will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Bruins come into the bout with a 12-13 record after their 60-58 league win over Sutter (Sutter, CA).
