Iowa High School Basketball - New Hampton falls to Charles City

In Friday's league match, the visiting Charles City Comets basketball team scored a good 62-52 triumph over the New Hampton Chickasaws.
In their next game, the Comets meet the Grand View Christian Thunder (Des Moines, IA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 4. Charles City will attempt to better on its 14-6 season record. The Thunder enter the match with a 16-0 record after their 72-57 non-league win over Nevada (Nevada, IA).
With the defeat, New Hampton moves to 8-11 on the year. The Chickasaws travel to Crestwood (Cresco, IA) to meet the Cadets in a Northeast Iowa match on Tuesday, February 7. The Cadets enter the match with a record of 12-7.
