Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), 62-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, Charlottesville upgrades its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Black Knights travel to Orange County (Orange, VA) to play the Fighting Hornets in a Jefferson bout on Monday, February 6. The Fighting Hornets come into the bout with a record of 11-9. Orange County won 70-42 in their recent league bout against Goochland (Goochland, VA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) in a Jefferson bout, on Monday, February 6. Monticello will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 0-18 record after their 70-42 league loss to Orange County (Orange, VA).
