The Chicago University Maroons basketball team (Chicago, IL), was toppled 47-37 in Friday's league battle with the host Northridge Knights (Niles, IL)

The Knights now possess a 18-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary's Springs for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 4. Northridge will confront a Ledgers team coming off a 106-77 league win over Winnebago Lutheran Academy (Fond du Lac, WI). The Ledgers record now stands at 15-2.

The Maroons (10-12) will now prepare for their battle against Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL). The Colonels come into the Independent School battle with a 14-11 record. In their last battle, Francis W. Parker was toppled by Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL), 82-47, in a non-league battle.
