The Tioga basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Chico Dragons to 36 in the league victory on Friday.

The now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Era for a 2A Region II District 13 contest on Saturday, February 4. Tioga will battle a Hornets team coming off a 79-50 league loss to Alvord (Alvord, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 6-20.

The Dragons (14-13) will now prepare for their contest against Alvord (Alvord, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region II District 13 contest with a 12-12 record. In their last contest, Alvord was defeated by Collinsville (Collinsville, TX), 68-64, in a league contest.
