In Friday's league match, the visiting Childress Bobcats basketball team scored a tight 57-54 triumph over the Shallowater Mustangs.
In their next game, the Bobcats meet the Roosevelt Eagles (Lubbock, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 match, on Tuesday, February 7. Childress will attempt to better on its 19-7 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 9-10 record after their 61-59 league win over Abernathy (Abernathy, TX).
