The Blackcats now possess a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norris City-Omaha-Enfield for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 4. Goreville will battle a Fighting Cardinals team coming off a 67-61 non-league loss to Webber (Bluford, IL). The Fighting Cardinals record now stands at 14-10.

The Bearcats (9-15) will now prepare for their battle against Cobden (Cobden, IL). The Appleknockers come into the non-league battle with a 10-13 record. In their last battle, Cobden prevailed over Shawnee (Wolf Lake, IL), 46-43, in a league battle.
