The Chuckey-Doak Black Knights basketball team (Afton, TN), was nudged 74-69 in Friday's league battle with the host South Greene Rebels (Greeneville, TN)

The Rebels now possess a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Greene for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 4. South Greene will battle a Huskies team coming off a 57-42 league win over Cloudland (Roan Mountain, TN). The Huskies record now stands at 13-10.

The Black Knights (21-5) will now prepare for their battle against University (Johnson City, TN). The Buccaneers come into the non-league battle with a 13-11 record. In their last battle, University edged Cloudland (Roan Mountain, TN), 71-50, in a league battle.
