Michigan High School Basketball - Clawson can't hold off Sterling Heights

The Sterling Heights Stallions basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Clawson Trojans to 53 in the Stallions league triumph on Friday.
The Stallions now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Center Line for a Macomb Area - Bronze contest on Tuesday, February 7. Sterling Heights will battle a Panthers team coming off a 67-53 league win over Hazel Park (Hazel Park, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 14-2.
The Trojans (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Clintondale (Clinton Township, MI). The Dragons enter the Macomb Area - Bronze contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Clintondale was nudged by Lamphere (Madison Heights, MI), 57-49, in a league contest.
