North Carolina High School Basketball - St. Pauls tops Clinton

St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC), 53-33 in a league bout.
With the victory, St. Pauls upgrades its record to 12-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC) to play the Knights in a 2A Conference 7 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 16-6. West Bladen won 66-55 in their recent league bout against Red Springs (Red Springs, NC)
Next up, the Dark Horses play the Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 6. Clinton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record. The Leopards come into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 51-47 league loss to Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC).
