The Clovis Wildcats basketball team (Clovis, NM), was nudged 63-60 in Friday's league battle with the host Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM)
The Coyotes now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hobbs for a 5A District 4 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Roswell will battle a Eagles team coming off a 58-29 league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 11-11.
The Wildcats (10-11) will now prepare for their battle against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Cavemen come into the 5A District 4 battle with a 15-7 record. In their last battle, Carlsbad edged Hobbs (Hobbs, NM), 58-29, in a league battle.
