Georgia High School Basketball - Cook can't hold off Dodge County

February 3, 2023: Eastman, GA 31023

The Cook Hornets basketball team (Adel, GA), was nudged 59-58 in Friday's league battle with the host Dodge County Indians (Eastman, GA)

The Indians now possess a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fitzgerald for a AA Region 1 battle on Saturday, February 4. Dodge County will battle a Purple Hurricane team coming off a 61-60 league loss to Berrien (Nashville, GA). The Purple Hurricane record now stands at 9-12.

The Hornets (5-16) will now prepare for their battle against Worth County (Sylvester, GA). The Rams come into the AA Region 1 battle with a 3-18 record. In their last battle, Worth County was nudged by Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA), 47-41, in a league battle.
