The Cordova Lancers (Rancho Cordova, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Natomas Nighthawks (Sacramento, CA), 74-73 in Friday's league test.

The Lancers (16-6) will now prepare for their test against Armijo (Fairfield, CA). The Royals go into the non-league test with a 2-19 record. In their last test, Armijo was tipped by Wood (Vacaville, CA), 67-55, in a league test.

The Nighthawks now own a 16-10 record. They play next when they host Florin for a Greater Sacramento test on Monday, February 6. Natomas will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 54-43 league loss to Valley (Sacramento, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-19.
