The Coventry Patriots basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Granby Memorial Bears to 51 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.
The Patriots now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Windsor for a North Central Connecticut contest on Monday, February 6. Coventry will meet a Panthers team coming off a 58-41 league loss to Bolton (Bolton, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 1-13.
The Bears (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Windsor Locks (Windsor Locks, CT). The Raiders enter the North Central Connecticut contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Windsor Locks nudged Rockville (Vernon, CT), 79-55, in a league contest.
