In Friday's league outing, the Moniteau Warriors (West Sunbury, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting Cranberry Area Berries (Seneca, PA), by a count of 56-46.

The Warriors (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA). The Wolves go into the non-league outing with a 8-11 record. In their last outing, West Shamokin defeated River Valley (Blairsville, PA), 40-37, in a league outing.

The Berries now hold a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Venango Catholic for a non-league outing on Monday, February 6. Cranberry Area will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 58-15 non-league loss to Ridgway (Ridgway, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-14.
