Wisconsin High School Basketball - Southwestern holds off Darlington

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Southwestern Wildcats (Hazel Green, WI) and the visiting Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI), saw Southwestern's basketball squad hold off Darlington by a tally of 59-57.
With the victory, Southwestern improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Mineral Point (Mineral Point, WI) to confront the Pointers in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities challenge on Monday, February 6. The Pointers come into the challenge with a record of 16-2. Mineral Point won 56-47 in their recent league challenge against Fennimore (Fennimore, WI)
Next up, the Redbirds confront the Iowa-Grant Panthers (Livingston, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Darlington will attempt to improve on its 18-3 season record.
