The D.C. Everest Evergreens basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Stevens Point Panthers to 61 in the Evergreens league triumph on Friday.

The Evergreens now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wausau West for a Wisconsin Valley contest on Thursday, February 9. D.C. Everest will battle a Warriors team coming off a 65-40 non-league win over Green Bay East (Green Bay, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 7-12.

The Panthers (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Kimberly (Kimberly, WI). The Papermakers enter the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Kimberly was nudged by Appleton North (Appleton, WI), 46-43, in a league contest.
