The Lake Shore Eagles basketball team (Angola, NY), was overwhelmed 72-31 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Depew Wildcats (Depew, NY)
The Wildcats now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Aurora for a Section 6 Erie County III battle on Tuesday, February 7. Depew will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 67-49 non-league loss to Williamsville South (Williamsville, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-9.
The Eagles (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Lackawanna (Lackawanna, NY). The Steelers come into the Section 6 Erie County III battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Lackawanna was overwhelmed by Pioneer (Yorkshire, NY), 50-36, in a league battle.
