The Petersburg Crimson Wave tipped the visiting Dinwiddie Generals basketball team by a final score of 108-106 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Crimson Wave face the Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, February 7. Petersburg will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 13-5 record after their 76-41 league win over Prince George (Prince George, VA).

The Generals (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Powhatan (Powhatan, VA). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 8-11 record. In their last battle, Powhatan edged Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA), 75-66, in a league battle.
