Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT) and the host East Granby Crusaders (East Granby, CT), saw Ellington's basketball squad knock off East Granby by a count of 43-31.

With the victory, Ellington upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Knights host Canton (Canton, CT) to play the Warriors in a North Central Connecticut challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Canton lost 64-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Cromwell (Cromwell, CT)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Bolton Bulldogs (Bolton, CT) in a North Central Connecticut challenge, on Monday, February 6. East Granby will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 58-41 league win over East Windsor (East Windsor, CT).
