East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Luray Bulldogs (Luray, VA), 59-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, East Rockingham upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA) to play the Falcons in a Bull Run bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 8-12. Central Woodstock won 57-46 in their recent league bout against Page County (Shenandoah, VA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Strasburg Rams (Strasburg, VA) in a Bull Run bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Luray will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 45-42 league win over Rappahannock County (Washington, VA).
