The Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD) basketball nipped the host Edgemont Moguls (Edgemont, SD), 40-34 in Friday's non-league test.
The Irrigators (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD). The Golddiggers go into the non-league test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, Lead-Deadwood was tipped by Philip (Philip, SD), 84-49, in a non-league test.
