Woodmore Wildcats (Elmore, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Elmwood Royals (Bloomdale, OH), 50-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Woodmore upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Wildcats host Lakota (Kansas, OH) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 2-13. Lakota lost 55-25 in their recent league bout against Calvert (Tiffin, OH)

Next up, the Royals play the Arcadia Redskins (Arcadia, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 6. Elmwood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Redskins go into the bout with a 2-16 record after their 81-37 non-league loss to Maumee Valley Country Day (Toledo, OH).
