The Encinal Jets basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host San Lorenzo Grizzlies to 57 in the Jets league victory on Friday.

The Jets now sport a 8-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Eden for a West Alameda County - Shoreline contest on Wednesday, February 8. Encinal will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 67-39 league win over Tennyson (Hayward, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 13-10.

The Grizzlies (7-17) will now prepare for their contest against Hayward (Hayward, CA). The Farmers come into the West Alameda County - Shoreline contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Hayward prevailed over Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA), 61-55, in a league contest.
