Eno River Bobcats (Hillsborough, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Oxford Prep Griffins (Oxford, NC), 60-58 in a league bout.

With the victory, Eno River upgrades its record to 8-13 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC) to play the Pride in a 1A Conference 11 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Pride come into the bout with a record of 13-10. Henderson Collegiate won 100-68 in their recent league bout against Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC)

Next up, the Griffins play the Roxboro Community Bulldogs (Roxboro, NC) in a 1A Conference 11 bout, on Monday, February 6. Oxford Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 100-68 league loss to Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC).
