In Friday's league outing, the Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX), by a count of 58-52.
The Lobos (14-14) will now prepare for their outing against Lake View (San Angelo, TX). The Chiefs go into the 4A Region I District 5 outing with a 6-22 record. In their last outing, Lake View was tipped by Big Spring (Big Spring, TX), 54-33, in a league outing.
The Matadors now hold a 18-16 record. They play next when they host Snyder for a 4A Region I District 5 outing on Tuesday, February 7. Estacado will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 40-27 league loss to Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 10-17.
