The Evanston Wildkits basketball team (Evanston, IL), was nudged 57-55 in Friday's league battle with the visiting New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL)
The Trevians now possess a 24-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeside Lutheran for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 4. New Trier will confront a Warriors team coming off a 49-46 league loss to Columbus (Columbus, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 15-2.
The Wildkits (19-7) will now prepare for their battle against Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league battle with a 16-8 record. In their last battle, Glenbard West edged Scales Mound (Scales Mound, IL), 70-49, in a non-league battle.
