The Everest Collegiate basketball team (Clarkston, MI), was nudged 51-45 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI)

The Knights now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lutheran North for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 7. University Liggett will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 62-61 league win over Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-3.

The (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Cardinal Mooney Catholic (Marine City, MI). The Cardinals come into the Catholic Intersectional I battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Cardinal Mooney Catholic was nudged by Loyola (Detroit, MI), 67-49, in a league battle.
