In Friday's non-league outing, the Fairview Tigers (Fairview, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA), by a margin of 67-29.

The Tigers (12-6) will now prepare for their outing against Girard (Girard, PA). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league outing with a 16-2 record. In their last outing, Girard smashed Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA), 60-47, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Greenville for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 4. Northwestern will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 53-27 league win over Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 11-5.
