Fairview Panthers (Grant, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting St. Joseph's - Plaucheville Eagles (Plaucheville, LA), 72-37 in a league bout.
With the win, Fairview upgrades its record to 27-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Mamou (Mamou, LA) to play the Demons in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Mamou lost 68-59 in their recent league bout against Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA)
Next up, the Eagles play the St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. St. Joseph's - Plaucheville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record.
