In Friday's league outing, the Weed Cougars (Weed, CA) basketball squad beat the host Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA), by a count of 82-72.
The Cougars (18-5) will now prepare for their match against Trinity (Weaverville, CA). The Wolves enter the Shasta Cascade match with a 20-6 record. In their last match, Trinity knocked off Modoc (Alturas, CA), 62-39, in a league match.
