The Firth Cougars basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Salmon Savages to 38 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ririe for a 2A Nuclear contest on Wednesday, February 8. Firth will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-53 league win over West Jefferson (Terreton, ID). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-4.

The Savages (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Watersprings (Idaho Falls, ID). The enter the non-league contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Watersprings triumphed over Challis (Challis, ID), 65-43, in a non-league contest.
