Mansfield Hornets (Mansfield, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Foxborough Warriors (Foxborough, MA), 42-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Mansfield upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to Oliver Ames (North Easton, MA) to clash with the Tigers in a Hockomock bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Oliver Ames won 56-52 in their recent league bout against Stoughton (Stoughton, MA)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Sharon Eagles (Sharon, MA) in a Hockomock bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Foxborough will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 46-43 league loss to Canton (Canton, MA).
