The Wakeland Wolverines basketball team (Frisco, TX), dropped 69-54 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX)
The Raccoons now possess a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to The Colony for a 5A Region II District 9 battle on Saturday, February 4. Frisco will battle a Cougars team coming off a 62-60 league win over Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 18-11.
The Wolverines (22-7) will now prepare for their battle against Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Mustangs come into the 5A Region II District 9 battle with a 4-19 record. In their last battle, Creekview dropped by Reedy (Frisco, TX), 52-41, in a league battle.
