Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Galeton succumbs to Port Allegany

The Port Allegany Gators topped the host Galeton Tigers basketball team by a final score of 49-37 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Gators face the Oswayo Valley Green Wave (Shinglehouse, PA) in a North Tier game, on Tuesday, February 7. Port Allegany will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Green Wave enter the game with a 4-15 record after their 65-56 league loss to Coudersport (Coudersport, PA).

With the defeat, Galeton moves to 8-11 on the year. The Tigers host Smethport (Smethport, PA) to face the Hubbers in a North Tier game on Tuesday, February 7. The Hubbers enter the game with a record of 8-9. Smethport lost 57-36 in their recent league game against Cameron County (Emporium, PA)
