The Warwick Warriors (Lititz, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Garden Spot Spartans (New Holland, PA), 47-40 in Friday's non-league test.
The Warriors (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Ephrata (Ephrata, PA). The Mountaineers go into the Lancaster-Lebanon 2 test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Ephrata got by Conestoga Valley (Lancaster, PA), 51-49, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Solanco for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Garden Spot will encounter a Golden Mules squad coming off a 54-25 league loss to Manheim Central (Manheim, PA). The Golden Mules record now stands at 5-14.
