In Friday's league match, the visiting Powder River County Hawks basketball team scored a tight 48-46 triumph over the Garfield County Mustangs.
In their next game, the Hawks face the Melstone Broncs (Melstone, MT) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 4. Powder River County will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Broncs enter the match with a 9-3 record after their 52-42 non-league loss to Broadview/Lavina (Lavina, MT).
With the defeat, Garfield County moves to 2-7 on the year.
