Georgia High School Basketball - Gilmer can't hold off Wesleyan

The Wesleyan Wolves basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Gilmer Bobcats to 65 in the Wolves league triumph on Friday.
The Wolves now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pickens for a AAA Region 7 bout on Tuesday, February 7. Wesleyan will play a Dragons squad coming off a 71-53 league win over White County (Cleveland, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 11-11.
Next up, the Bobcats play the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders (Dalton, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Gilmer will attempt to upgrade on its 15-8 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 10-12 record after their 62-61 league loss to Heritage (Ringgold, GA).
