Pacific (Port Orford, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Glendale Pirates (Glendale, OR), 39-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Pacific upgrades its record to 3-14 on the season. The host Elkton (Elkton, OR) to clash with the Elks in a 1A Skyline bout on Friday, February 10. The Elks go into the bout with a record of 14-7. Elkton won 68-24 in their recent league bout against Camas Valley (Camas Valley, OR)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the New Hope Christian Warriors (Grants Pass, OR) in a 1A Skyline bout, on Saturday, February 4. Glendale will attempt to upgrade on its 0-17 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 52-51 league win over Umpqua Valley Christian (Roseburg, OR).
