In Friday's league outing, the Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL) basketball squad beat the host Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL), by a count of 57-44.
The Lions (16-10) will now prepare for their outing against Belleville East (Belleville, IL). The Lancers go into the non-league outing with a 22-4 record. In their last outing, Belleville East was topped by Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL), 33-32, in a league outing.
