The Goldthwaite Eagles basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting San Saba Armadillos to 40 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnson City for a 2A Region IV District 29 contest on Saturday, February 4. Goldthwaite will battle a Eagles team coming off a 55-47 league win over Junction (Junction, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-13.
The Armadillos (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Junction (Junction, TX). The Eagles enter the 2A Region IV District 29 contest with a 3-14 record.
