Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Grand Forks Central Knights (Grand Forks, ND), 75-67 in a league bout.

With the win, Red River upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Roughriders travel to West Fargo (West Fargo, ND) to play the Packers in a A East bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Packers go into the bout with a record of 6-7. West Fargo lost 58-57 in their recent non-league bout against Bemidji (Bemidji, MN)

Next up, the Knights play the Devils Lake Firebirds (Devils Lake, ND) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Grand Forks Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record.
