The Great Plains Lutheran Panthers (Watertown, SD) basketball nipped the visiting Wilmot Wolves (Wilmot, SD), 63-56 in Friday's non-league test.
The Panthers (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Arlington (Arlington, SD). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 2-13 record. In their last test, Arlington was tipped by Deubrook (White, SD), 79-42, in a league test.
The Wolves now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they travel to Langford for a B Region 1 test on Saturday, February 4. Wilmot will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 74-22 non-league loss to Groton (Groton, SD). The Lions record now stands at 3-11.
