Greely Rangers (Cumberland Center, ME) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Wells Warriors (Wells, ME), 60-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Greely upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Rangers host Freeport (Freeport, ME) to play the Falcons in a A South bout on Monday, February 6. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 4-12. Freeport lost 74-49 in their recent league bout against Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME)

Next up, the Warriors play the Yarmouth Clippers (Yarmouth, ME) in a B South bout, on Monday, February 6. Wells will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Clippers come into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 53-45 league win over Lake Region (Naples, ME).
