The Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA) basketball knocked off the host Marlborough Panthers (Marlborough, MA), 66-56 in Friday's league test.
The Crusaders (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Nashoba Regional (Bolton, MA). The Chieftains go into the Midland-Wachusett B test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Nashoba Regional notched a victory over Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA), 76-46, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Shepherd Hill Regional for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Marlborough will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 57-52 non-league win over Westborough (Westborough, MA). The Rams record now stands at 15-1.
